Dawson Farms is a large scale (>1000hA) macadamia and avocado farm under development in Sussundenga, Mozambique, by a consortium of five South African farming groups.  We helped to design, implement and finance a renewable energy system to integrate with their existing off-grid system, variable speed pumps for irrigation, and diesel generators for backup power.  The system allows for expansion as the operation increases from its current plantings of ~400hA.
